Constructionline targets client growth with key appointments

Constructionline - the UK's largest register of pre-qualified contractors and consultants - has strengthened its sales and client relationship teams.

Amanda Reynolds has been appointed as Business Development Manager for both Wales and the South West where she will target public and private sector organisations looking to reduce the amount of money spent on construction procurement.

She joins Constructionline from Hugh James Solicitors, Cardiff, following a two year spell in the firm's property division where she has developed relationships with contractors, consultants and public sector organisations.

Michaela Schosland is the new Client Relationship Manager for the East Midlands and East Anglia providing procurement support to clients such as the Norfolk Constabulary, East Midlands Airport and the Suffolk Housing Society.

She previously worked for support services giant Carillion where she managed a team of surveyors working for EDF for three years.

Nationally, Constructionline is used by over 70 per cent of local authorities and operates a database of almost 20,000 contractors and consultants.

Philip Prince, Constructionline's Sales and Marketing Director, said: "The public sector is increasingly focused on reducing the amount of time and money that it wastes through inefficient procurement processes."

"These new appointments will allow us to both support and target more organisations accross the public and private sectors with a simple procurement solution."
