Are you a Limited company?
If so, we will need to see your full annual accounts as prepared for shareholders and Companies House including an audit report or an accountant’s report. Your directors, partners and auditors or accountants must sign and date your accounts where necessary.
If you are a group or an ultimate holding firm that is not able to send us consolidated accounts, you may have to send us accounts of other group firms that are relevant to the application or continued registration.
You will need to include the following:
You need to send us the business' full annual accounts for the latest accounting period, as prepared for the owners and the HM Revenue and Customs. The business owners must sign and date them as a true representation of the business' financial affairs.

New start up suppliers – Guide to your application
The number of references you need to provide depends on the number of work categories you are applying for within a group sector (please see our work categories page for the full list of categories). Two references must be provided for each category, sector and discipline for which your business wishes to be registered and they must be for work carried out in the last three years.
You may provide a reference that covers more than one work category, if the buyer is prepared to confirm that you performed equally well on each type of work.
We will need copies of your Employers and Public Liability insurance, to be resent each year on their expiry date.
You must complete our Health and Safety questionnaire, which is then scanned into the database for our buyers to assess. However, if you have a current CHAS certificate of accreditation or, for suppliers working in Northern Ireland, a valid SAFE-T-CERT (or equivalent), your certificate will be accepted in place of the questionnaire.
You must complete Part A of our Equal Opportunities questionnaire. We will examine it for nonconformities and report back to the buyer for action. The questionnaire will be scanned into our database and made available to all our buyers.
You must complete Part A of our Environmental questionnaire. We will examine it for nonConstructionline conformities and report back to the buyer for action. The questionnaire will be scanned into our database and made available to all our buyers.
Please use our work category tick list to tell us which categories you wish to register for. We can only list you under your chosen categories if you provide the supporting references and have the appropriate staff workforce to carry out the work. Consultants’ disciplines cannot be allocated unless the consultant is a member of the appropriate professional body – i.e. to be registered for architecture you must be a member of RIBA or equivalent.
You must indicate the areas of the country in which you are willing to work and the value of contracts you are prepared to take in these areas.
If you are a limited company you must provide all details of directors, company secretaries and persons holding more than 20% of the paid-up share or loan capital (including home postcodes and dates of birth).
If you are a sole trader or a partnership you must list all those with a financial interest in the firm.
