Chief Executive of Capita plc to step down

This morning it was announced that Andy Parker, Chief Executive of Capita plc is to step down, continuing in his current role until a successor is appointed.

Although changes are occurring at a senior level within Capita plc, Constructionline & Acclaim sit within Capita Supplier Assessment Services, which continues with its programme of investment, development and growth under the leadership of Managing Director John Edmunds.

This year will see exciting developments, including new service offers and new partnerships. The first of these is a partnership with the Health and Safety Laboratory, part of Health and Safety Executive (HSE), to help companies meet the requirements of the new ISO 45001 regulation. Announced this morning, this is the first of several initiatives to be announced over the next few months which will see the Constructionline offer grow to better support its existing users and to expand its user base.

A good year in view for construction and the built environment combined with an ever increasing demand to increase third party governance and better manage risk throughout the supply chain will highlight the compelling advantages of engaging with Constructionline & Acclaim. We are confident that strong demand, together with the significant investment committed by Capita plc, will see the service develop positively over the coming weeks and months.
