As long as the tendered category is relevant, CHIC will use this Category value (also known as notation value) on Constructionline platform to verify suppliers’ financial standing. This approach reduces the administrative burden of bidding and evaluation for both the supply chain partner and CHIC Ltd respectively.
Suppliers may choose to complete full CAS assessment via the CHIC eSourcing platform if they wish, but Constructionline Gold Membership would be of benefit to them if interested in tendering for opportunities across the multiple organisations and not just for CHIC alone.

CHIC have partnered with Constructionline for reassurance of a robust and compliant set of supply chain partners. The Constructionline platform and membership scheme has demonstrated that its standard prequalification questions allow us to tap into excellent compliance, financial and health and safety information at the click of a button. We recommend that our supplier prequalify to the Gold standard via Constructionline to ensure they meet our minimum standards.
We’ve partnered with Constructionline because we want to make the onboarding process as straightforward and cost-effective as possible for our suppliers. Constructionline gives us and you a clear view of your accreditation status, so we can be sure that you’re ready to work with us at any time.

Once you have registered, you’ll receive an email from Constructionline with your registration number and login details. Use this information to log in to the Constructionline platform and complete your profile and provide the relevant up to date documentation.
Constructionline’s experts will assess your completed profile, let you know if you need to provide any additional information and assist you throughout the verification process. Once your gold membership is verified you will meet CHIC’s prequalification standard and be ready to accept work from them.
