GMI is a responsible business driven by a desire to adopt an industry recognised and robust approach to the way we conduct business and manage our Supply Chain. Being socially responsible and sustainable is of the utmost importance, but above all safety is our license to operate.
We have partnered with Constructionline as our external pre-qualification provider for baseline validation to ensure compliance of our requirements and current legislation to meet these core values.
We require that the Supply Chain Partners we contract with, achieve and maintain a Constructionline Gold membership and associated SSIP.
We will require all our subcontractors to be a verified Constructionline Gold member (or above) and to have a current SSIP Certification, for inclusion on our approved core Sub-Contractor list.
If you’re not yet a Constructionline member, you can sign up for Gold Membership using the button below. Alternatively, if you are an existing member of Constructionline and have either: Constructionline Associate, Bronze or Silver Membership, you can upgrade to Gold membership by logging in to your profile and selecting ‘Manage account‘ from the left-hand menu.
In addition, all Gold members are assessed for SSIP. Our Acclaim team is accredited to assess and award ‘Deem to Satisfy’ SSIP certificates for health and safety – something that all construction buyers look for in supplier selection.
We’ve partnered with Constructionline because we want to make the onboarding process as straightforward and cost-effective as possible for our suppliers. Constructionline gives us and you a clear view of your accreditation status, so we can be sure that you’re ready to work with us at any time.
To become a Constructionline Supplier, you will need to pay an upfront joining fee and an annual membership fee based on your turnover. Enter your details on the membership page to find out how much it will cost you to join Constructionline.
Our memberships now include an SSIP from Acclaim Accreditation, which gives you instant savings of up to 40% as it removes the need for you to pay for and be assessed by multiple health and safety and PQQ schemes.
You can show you meet the PAS 91 and Common Assessment Standard and pre-qualify across core modules required by Public and Private sector buyers. You can also demonstrate your professional standing with our Social Value certification.
By becoming a Constructionline Supplier, you’ll be verified not only to work with us but the rest of the Buyers that use Constructionline. Once you have registered, you’ll receive an email from Constructionline with your registration number and login details. Use this information to log in to the Constructionline platform and complete your profile and provide the relevant up to date documentation.
Constructionline’s experts will assess your completed profile, let you know if you need to provide any additional information and assist you throughout the verification process. Once your gold membership is verified you will meet GMI Construction Group PLC’s prequalification standard and be ready to accept work from them.
