ASW Property Services Limited is an indigenous Welsh company providing specialist construction services delivering a wide range of maintenance and refurbishment services primarily to Local Authority and Housing Association clients across the whole of South Wales and beyond.

The company specialise in delivering works to the Welsh Housing Quality Standard to occupied properties using a trained and experienced multi-skilled workforce and have established a reputation for delivering high quality works within demanding time and budget constraints.

ASW became Constructionline accredited in 2012 and since became one of the first companies to achieve SSIP status with an Acclaim Accreditation.

PRE-QUALIFICATION MADE SIMPLER

As an SSIP forum member, Acclaim Accreditation bears the SSIP badge and will be accepted as evidence of stage one health & safety competency for buyers who adopt the principles of SSIP.

We talked to Ian James, Technical Director at ASW about the benefits of Acclaim, he told us:

“Procurement for public sector works can be a time consuming and resource intensive process for smaller companies like us. This is why Constructionline and SSIP membership via Acclaim can be a big help to us at the pre-qualification stage as a large number of public bodies now recognise these – meaning less time wasted filling repetitive questionnaires.”

ASW Property Services were one of the first companies to achieve the new Acclaim SSIP accreditation. Using Acclaim has reduced a lot of hassle from the prequalification process, allowing them to focus both time and resources on business development with new clients in new sectors.

Becoming accredited with Constructionline is made simpler due to the help and support they provide; Constructionline staff are on hand to handle any queries. The Acclaim process is a bit more in depth but again the help and support from the Constructionline staff is second to none.”
