Register for Cadent’s DPS: – Minor Gas Works Pipeline and Assets and Mains Replacement Local Delivery Partner – Steel Line & Pipe Fittings
Cadent is a gas distribution company that connects customers to the gas they use – whether its homes, factories, shops or businesses. Cadent is committed to operating gas pipelines in a safe and reliable way with minimum inconvenience to communities. There are eight regional distribution networks, four of which are owned by Cadent. The four owned by Cadent are in the West Midlands, North West, East of England and North London. Gas is owned by your gas supplier and Cadent is responsible for this gas whilst it is being transported. Our UK distribution networks deliver gas to around 11 million consumers.
After you register your interest in one of our DPS schemes, you’ll receive an email from Constructionline confirming we’ve received your application. Once you’re signed up and registered, login to the Constructionline platform and ensure that your profile is complete and up to date across all of the sections and that you’ve submitted valid up-to-date references for all of the DPS work categories that you’ve registered for.
This DPS will provide a platform for Local Delivery Partners (LDP’s) to support the delivery of our Gas Mains Replacement (MRP) and Non-Mains Replacement Programs (Non-MRP) as well as suppliers to compete for minor gas works.
The main replacements works will comprise of excavation, backfill and reinstatement to facilitate Mains and Service replacement and abandonment.
The scope of the gas works may be design and build or build only and can range from either one-off projects to small programmes of work.
This DPS will provide a platform for sourcing agents, manufacturers and stock holding suppliers to support and provide Steel Pipe, Flanges, Fittings, Gaskets & Bolting. To support the Asset & Infrastructure portfolio and the wider business within Cadent Gas.
The steel line & pipe fittings will cover, Steel Pipe, Fittings, Flanges, Gaskets & Bolting.
To register for the DPS and be considered for work, you will need to be a member of Constructionline. If you are not a member already, please register as a free Associate member, which will allow you to register your interest in the Cadent Steel Line and Pipe Fittings DPS.
Register for the Constructionline membership level our partner has directed you to, or the membership level that best fits your company profile. During registration you’ll need to supply the sign-up code you were given in your letter or email communication. Existing Constructionline members will need to upgrade to the appropriate membership level as directed. Once you’re signed up and registered, login to the Constructionline portal and ensure that your profile is complete and up to date across all of the PAS91 sections and that you’ve submitted valid up to date references for all of the DPS work categories that you’ve registered for.
Constructionline will carry out an assessment of your DPS application and completed Constructionline profile within 10 working days of your application and submission. We will let you know if anything requires any updates and assist you through the verification process. After which, the client running the DPS scheme in partnership with Constructionline will be in touch to let you know if you’ve been successful or not in your DPS application and will inform you of the next steps.
