Explore the Ministry of Justice DPS opportunities
The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) is a major government department at the heart of the UK justice system. Our vision is to deliver a world-class justice system that works for everyone in society.
We are responsible for everything that goes into running the UK’s criminal and civil justice systems. This includes 500 courts and tribunals, 121 prisons, the policies underpinning the system and much more.
Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) is a division within the MoJ responsible for the prison estate. The establishment of a Minor Works Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) will, in the main, be used by HMPPS, providing an alternative route to market in relation to project work under £1m, but may also include maintenance and resultant remedial small scope high impact works.
The DPS is also open for use across all other divisions of the MoJ (Courts, Tribunals and corporate buildings). In addition, the DPS may also be used by Gov Facilities Services Limited, a company owned by the MoJ, so this is an exciting new flexible opportunity.
Registration for the Minor Works DPS is now open.
To register for the DPS and be considered for work, you will need to be a member of Constructionline. If you are not a member already, please register as a free Associate member, which will allow you to register your interest in the MoJ DPS.
MoJ hosted a webinar to provide details on the DPS, and you can view the webinar presentation as well as view a recording of the webinar if you were unable to attend – Passcode: #MOJDPS25#
Registration for this pioneering Alliance form of contract is now open – start your application.
To register for the Minor Works DPS, you will first need to be a member of Constructionline. If you are not yet a member, please register as a free Associate member. As a member, you can then register your interest in the MoJ Minor Works DPS
After you register your interest in the relevant DPS, you’ll receive an email from Constructionline confirming we’ve received your application. You will be able to provide answers to the DPS onboarding questionnaire and submit the necessary evidence, where required, for individual work categories
Constructionline will carry out an assessment of your DPS application and completed Constructionline profile within 10 working days of receiving your completed submission. We will let you know if anything requires any updates and assist you through the verification process. After which, Constructionline will be in touch to let you know if you’ve been successful or not in your DPS application and will inform you of the next steps.
Once you have been approved for the DPS on Constructionline, you will need to complete the experience and reference checks required by the Ministry of Justice. This process is carried out by the Ministry of Justice Commercial team, not on the Constructionline portal. Please read the Document Pack for guidance on how to complete this process.
