Curo Construction Case Study: Tender Management (BidWork)

“It improves the quality of enquiries”

About Curo Construction

With decades of experience, Curo Construction is a leading, privately-owned company. Their well-respected reputation and versatile expertise allows them to operate across numerous sectors, including commercial new builds, fit-out, cultural heritage projects, industrial, data centre, and film studios. At the heart of their mission lies an unwavering commitment to collaboration and building strong relationships. Working alongside their clients and professional teams, they consistently uphold exacting standards and deliver unrivalled quality, which is at the core of their values.

Curo started to use Tender Management by Once For All (formerly known as BidWork) in early 2024. Chris Murray, Senior Estimator, talks about their usage of the tool:

  Saving time

Tender Management provides a modern and consistent method for delivering enquiries to our supply chain. We can easily find subcontractors from the approved list, create packages and document schedules, and issue package-specific information to each trade in less time than ever.

  Tracking invitations to tender

The platform automatically logs all information issued to the supply chain during the tender period, creating a clear audit trail, decreasing the likelihood of important information ‘slipping through the net’.

  Subcontractor levels of engagement

Tender Management also allows us to monitor subcontractor engagement on a project-by-project basis (on everything, from accessing the enquiry and downloading the documents, up to submitting a revised quotation) and offers insights into all-time return / decline performance. It also provides enhanced features for reviewing document content to complement our own attention to detail.

Summary

In short, Tender Management saves time undertaking the enquiry process, improves the quality of those enquiries, provides insights into subcontractor performance, and offers novel technology to reduce the risk of missing cost significant details.
