Our ‘Gold’ membership is demonstration of your high levels of quality and dedication to construction. Not only does it include questions around sustainability and social value, SSIP for health & safety and also the very latest version of the Common Assessment Standard (CAS), but it also includes a structured assessment around the Building Safety Act (BSA).

Why Gold? Constructionline Gold is important because it provides a recognised, industry‑wide benchmark that demonstrates a subcontractor meets high standards of competence, governance, and risk management. Unlike basic pre‑qualification, Gold level includes enhanced validation around areas such as health and safety, environmental management, quality assurance, financial stability, anti‑bribery measures, and modern slavery compliance. This gives main contractors confidence that accredited businesses have been independently assessed against stringent criteria, reducing risk across the supply chain and helping streamline procurement.
For subcontractors, holding Constructionline Gold is increasingly a differentiator—and often a requirement—to access major projects. Many principal contractors now look for Gold accreditation during their supplier selection process, so having it opens the door to more tender opportunities and strengthens a company’s credibility. It also saves time: subcontractors can avoid repeatedly completing separate pre‑qualification questionnaires because the Gold certification acts as a trusted, centralised verification. Achieving this standard signals professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to continuous improvement. It helps subcontractors stand out in a competitive market, reduces administrative burden, and fosters stronger relationships with clients who value compliant and well‑managed partners. United Infrastructure – Social Infrastructure’s approach to compliance will be reflected in the type of work you are doing for us. You will receive communications to that effect however, to be assured of the highest level of compliance we aim to target a common assessment standard level, across our supply chain.
We will be using Constructionline’s platform to access this information, therefore if you don’t have an assessment equal to CAS we urge you to consider the Constructionline Gold level assessment. If you have CAS from another provider, you will have the option to share data via your current Assessor for United Infrastructure to access.
Failure to do so may result in missing out on receiving opportunities from United Infrastructure – Social Infrastructure.
This change ensures compliance with new regulations and maintains high standards of quality and safety. With over 90% of our supply chain already using this platform, it will streamline processes for all suppliers.
To minimise disruption, we ask that you switch to Constructionline when your insurance or key documents are up for renewal. As your credentials are due to expire soon, you must achieve Constructionline Gold certification within 60 days of this notice.
We recommend that you upgrade to Gold as soon as possible to give you time to achieve verified status prior to the deadline.
As a Constructionline Gold member, you will be unaffected by these changes and will be immediately added to our live supply chain on the platform.
However, you are required to remain a fully verified Constructionline Gold member, or you risk being removed from our supply chain.

You can store all your PQQ and SSIP data on the Constructionline platform, saving you from completing multiple PQQs every year. By using Constructionline, they streamline procurement, reduce risk, and ensure that only fully accredited and validated suppliers operate on their projects.
