Launching the Once For All Compliance Partner Programme

Over recent years, we have seen an increase in subcontractors using third-party consultants to manage compliance submissions on their behalf to help with their Constructionline membership application. We have also seen growth in the number of firms offering these services.

To improve transparency and strengthen security where third parties are involved in compliance submissions, we’ve introduced an audit process for these consultants under our new Once For All Compliance Partner Programme.

This is intended to help identify consultants who have completed our review of their processes, policies and ways of working. It is also designed to reduce risk in areas such as misrepresentation and fraudulent documentation.

What is the Compliance Partner Programme?

Our Compliance Partner Programme provides an Approved list of third-party consultants who can assist with our assessments so subcontractors can be sure that their interests have been represented in the best possible way, and have successfully passed an official audit by our team.

We understand that navigating industry regulations, meeting Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) requirements, and aligning with the Building Safety Act can be complex and time-consuming. We always encourage our customers to complete this information themselves, but we understand this is not always possible and use 3rd party services who provide help in completing their pre-qualification questionnaire.

Why we created the Compliance Partner Programme

As well as providing our own in-house help, the Compliance Partner Programme outlines a clear list of approved 3rd party partners and consultancies, so subcontractors can trust they’re receiving the correct information and guidance on how to achieve a verified compliance membership.

If you’re unsure whether you’re getting a certificate from an approved 3rd party, our Programme aims to provide subcontractors – and main contractors – with the confidence that they’re working with consultants that provide guidance on how to achieve a legitimate membership certificate from us, covering:

How will it work?

To improve transparency and strengthen security where third parties are involved in compliance submissions, we are introducing a free audit process for these consultants. This is intended to help identify consultants who have completed our review of their processes, policies and ways of working.

Consultants who successfully complete the audit will be able to state that they are ‘Approved’ under the Once For All Compliance Partner Programme for a period of 6 months, after which they may be reassessed.
