What is Marketplace?

Marketplace brings together the UK’s largest community of construction industry suppliers and buyers to help them win more business. For suppliers, it offers them the chance to uncover both publicly available opportunities as well as unique opportunities from Constructionline buyers. And for buyers, it lets them target suppliers, using criteria not available on any other platform, to approach and gauge interest to build supply chains that meet specific needs of their customers, projects and organisation.

Can you upgrade my membership part way through my current membership?

Yes, you can upgrade your membership at any time by visiting Manage Account within your profile, and you will be discounted the remaining balance from your previous membership onto your new membership.

How often do I need to pay?

Payments are taken annually by credit/debit card or by direct debit, depending on your chosen payment preference when signing up to Constructionline.

Do I need an SSIP?

SSIP is now included across our Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum memberships. If your organisation already has an SSIP certification, you will be able to show this with ‘Deemed to Satisfy’; Or if you would like to obtain an SSIP, we can offer this to you with our Once For All Health & Safety.

What is the Common Assessment Standard?

The Common Assessment Standard is an industry-agreed question set. The development of the question set was led by Build UK with support from a Cross Industry Body, consisting of experts from public and private sector clients, contractors and trade associations.

What level do I need to sign up to in order to be compliant with the Common Assessment Standard?

For the desktop audit, you will need to be verified to Gold with the Common Assessment Standard question set, for the onsite audit you will need to be verified to Platinum.
