UKAEA Culham Campus

Explore the UKAEA Culham Campus DPS opportunities

The primary location for UKAEA (United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority) is based at Culham Campus, Abingdon, Oxfordshire. The organisation sponsored by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) undertakes research in relation to fusion energy and other related technologies with the aim of positioning the UK as a leader in sustainable nuclear energy.

The UKAEA site at Culham comprises of a mixture of buildings (laboratories; offices; welfare facilities, etc); roads, paving and hardstandings; and open grassed and landscaped areas. A funding programme has been agreed to further enhance and maintain these facilities in the period summer 2023 to 2025 up to £5M (inc VAT) in value.

To aid delivery of that programme the establishment of a Minor Works Construction Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) has been agreed with potential tendered opportunities ranging in value from £10,000 to £600,000 per project across a maximum 2 year DPS duration.
