On the 1st December, Constructionline, as part of its busy events programme, is inviting local businesses in the South West to meet with award-winning building contractor Speller Metcalfe to discuss upcoming contracts for 2017.
Speller Metcalfe has so far secured £55m worth of work within the South West for 2016-2017, with £10m of that in the housing sector. The company is also backed by The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) and the Sovereign Housing framework, which covers £320m of new build work.
At the event, attendees will have the opportunity to meet directly with key personnel and procurement decision makers from Speller Metcalfe.
Steve Speller, joint owner of Speller Metcalfe said, “As we continue to win work in the South West it is critical to business operations that we develop a local supply chain that values health and safety, quality and innovation. This event will bring together our buyers and local contractors to help build strong business relationships.”
“This event provides a unique platform that local businesses may not otherwise be presented with. So far this year we have hosted over 30 events designed to connect thousands of small business with large contractors, which is fantastic for the industry,” says Andrew Turner, account lead at Constructionline.
The event will be hosted in an informal manner with no prior appointments necessary. It will take place from 08:30 to 12:30 at The Bristol Golf Club and will be free to members and non-members.
