Amey has chosen to partner with Constructionline as our preferred pre-qualification check service, which satisfies Amey’s requirements for our supply chain’s vetting before engagement.
This enables us to deliver high-quality projects with a compliant and sustainable supply chain.
Amey work in collaborative partnerships bringing supplier expertise to complement our own delivery creating relationships with suppliers as an extension of our own unique offering. Our focus is to recognise the importance of the specialist external suppliers to create a balance self-delivery with use of our supply chain to provide effective services to our clients.
As a minimum, we require our suppliers to operate to the same high standards of safety, sustainability, and ethics. We see these fundamentals key to creating a successful long term relationship.
Amey has a large and diverse supply base across the group to tap into – these relationships have been formed over many years and stood the test of time. We are proud of these relationships and in addition, we use a variety of methods to engage the wider market. In addition to our large pool of existing suppliers, we use Constructionline to search for new suppliers, we hold supply chain open events, we use Contract’s finder and local portals we also host specific events to target local suppliers.
For example, recently we hosted an event in central Birmingham where we looked to engage specialist environmental consultant based suppliers the event enabled key management from our business to address and engage the specialist suppliers around how to become a supplier to Amey and more specifically discuss first hand and in person the opportunities that we have to offer we were delighted that over 30 suppliers joined us for this event. In Wales and Borders with our Rail franchise project, we have a project commitment to issue all tender opportunities on the “Sell to Wales portal” this specifically targets diverse and local suppliers and affords an open opportunity to suppliers from that region to engage with tenders on that project.
We now require our sub-contractors and service providers to become verified members of Constructionline.
If you’re not yet a Constructionline member, you can sign up for Gold Membership using the button below. Alternatively, if you are an existing member of Constructionline and have either: Constructionline Associate, Bronze, or Silver, you can upgrade to Gold membership by logging in to your profile and selecting ‘Manage account‘ from the left-hand menu.
In addition, all Gold members are assessed for SSIP. Our Acclaim team is accredited to assess and award ‘Deem to Satisfy’ SSIP certificates for health and safety – something that all construction buyers look for in supplier selection.
Register for the Constructionline membership level our partner has directed you to, or the membership level that best fits your company profile. During registration you’ll need to supply the sign-up code you were given in your letter or email communication. Existing Constructionline members will need to upgrade to the appropriate membership level as directed. By joining Constructionline you’ll become part of a 46,000 strong community of like-minded Suppliers. Representing over a quarter of the industry, Constructionline is the UK’s most connected and progressive provider of procurement and supply chain management services.
After you register as a Constructionline member, you’ll receive an email from Constructionline confirming your registration and login details. Once you’re registered, login to the Constructionline portal and ensure that your profile is complete and up to date across all of the appropriate sections.
Constructionline will carry out an assessment of your completed profile. We will let you know if anything requires any updates and assist you through the verification process.
