Exciting updates made to manage and protect your next project:

Suspend Supplier Account feature

We’re pleased to introduce a new feature on the platform: Suspend Supplier Account.

This update enables Main Contractors like you to suspend certain supplier accounts. This aims to reduce the need for further concern or disputes; maybe a subcontractor didn’t complete the work on time, went over budget, caused a Health & Safety incident, etc.

Who can use this feature?

Suspend Supplier Account will be available to Organisation Admin(s) only. Permissions can be adjusted to add any user within your organisation.

What does Suspend Supplier Account mean?

This feature marks that the subcontractor’s account has been suspended. This indicates that they should not be used.

Even if there are suppliers not in your supply chain, you can still suspend them from your own segments.

This feature enables users to mark an account as ‘do not use’, even if a supplier is 100% verified.

How do you suspend a subcontractor (supplier)?

Click ‘Manage Supply Chain’ on the left-hand side of the portal.
Head to ‘Supply Chain’, then ‘Supplier Segments’.
Click on the Supplier you want to Suspend, and then the 3 dots (next to ‘Add to Supply Chain’.)
Click on ‘Manage Suspension’. Here, you can move suspend the supplier from a specific Org Unit. Click Save.

This will then show ‘Account Suspended’.

Want to unsuspend a supplier? Repeat the process and move them back to ‘Active in Org Units.’

Can I suspend suppliers that are NOT in my supply chain?

Yes. You can suspend subcontractors on the platform that are not in your supply chain.

Can I still contact suppliers when they’ve been suspended?

Yes. Even if you’ve suspended a supplier, you can still contact them.

The ‘Account Suspended’ banner shows other users within your Buyer Organisation Unit that the supplier has been suspended.

When will the Suspend Account feature be available?

This feature is now live on the platform.

Please note, there is no bulk suspend feature. You can only suspend one supplier at a time.

Will subcontractors know if I’ve suspended them?

No. This feature enables you to notify other users that the supplier has been suspended.

How to adjust ‘Suspend Supplier’ permissions within your organisation

If you would like another member of your account to access this feature, you can adjust permissions via the Admin tab on the left hand side of the portal.

Click on Users and then ‘Manage’ next to the person you’d like to assign access to.

Select ‘Permissions’, scroll down to ‘Suspend Supplier’, slide it to green to enable access and the click Save.
