Recall and resubmit your answers to Buyer-specific requirements: Submission recall feature

We’re pleased to introduce our latest feature which is now live on the platform for subcontractors with a Builder’s Profile membership: Submission recall.

The update aims to help subcontractors like you speed up verification to your requirements and help you on your way to winning work sooner. You can now recall and resubmit questions to the verification queue if you are working with more than one Buyer that shares the same questions, for bespoke questions listed in Builder’s Profile.

How do you recall a submission?

Scenario: You’ve submitted answers to specific requirements to Buyer 1. Buyer 2 is asking for the same questions to be answered, but Buyer 1 hasn’t yet approved them. Previously this would have meant that the questions would not have been editable, in some cases resulting in a delay to submit to buyer 2.

The recall and resubmit feature allows questions for Buyer 2 to be edited and submitted, even when Buyer 1 hasn’t approved them. Within your profile, click ‘Compliance’ and then head to ‘Buyer Connections’. Click on Buyer 2’s name with and click on ‘Resolve’. Then open up the Requirements they’d like you to complete. Review the information and click ‘Submit’.

When you resubmit, you will be asked if you’d like to proceed. This resubmits your questions from Buyer 1, but also now adds you into the verification queue for approval from Buyer 2.

This will then appear in ‘Submitted for Assessment’. If the Buyer approves the submission, this will appear in ‘Completed’.

A buyer has started assessing my answers: can I resubmit?

No. Once a buyer has started the approval process, your answers cannot be withdrawn.
