The new submission process for uploading financial documents uses OCR to read the documents and automatically complete the population of the required fields in the Financial Section of the questionnaire. All you have to do is check the final results and click confirm, before submitting as usual. Since going live, we have already seen a dramatic improvement in the accuracy and reduction in errors in the few submissions already received. The error rate has reduced from 70% before AI to less than 30%, which is a dramatic reduction, significantly improving the experience for our customers and reducing the amount of additional verifications required to be made.

We are introducing a number of features into Marketplace Publish which will support Buyers in their efforts to maximise and demonstrate a commitment to supporting the ‘Local Pound’.
Filter by Office Type – Allows a Buyer to select between Head and Branch offices when they are looking to maximise benefit to the local economy – the ‘Local Pound’. A Head office located close to a project will ensure more of the money spent flows back into the local economy and is often an important consideration for Main Contractors when bidding for tenders.
Find suppliers by Area/Region – Offers a more accurate way for a Buyer to select suppliers that have a presence in a specific area, such as a county, as an alternative to within a radius of a project location – supports the ‘Local Pound’.
We are pleased to announce that our SSIP scheme, Acclaim, is officially a Type C Inspection Body accredited by UKAS against ISO/IEC 17020:2012.
Acclaim is one of the very few SSIP Schemes to hold this accreditation which demonstrates our technical competence in Health and Safety.
