Opportunities worth many millions have now been published by Constructionline Buyers to over 15,000 suppliers on Marketplace. These are opportunities that customers are receiving as a direct result of their membership and profile on Constructionline and many of which are not available anywhere else.
Throughout the continued development and improvement of Marketplace, we have engaged with our members to understand how the capability can be improved. One feature that was requested by both suppliers and buyers, is the ability to manage and complete the tender process with all the information in one place. Now suppliers are notified when they have been matched to an opportunity so they can answer buyers’ questions and complete documents to submit their tender applications directly within Marketplace. Buyers will then be able to receive these tender submissions, monitor who has completed their questions, and review suppliers’ answers within the platform.
Suppliers can answer Tender Requirement questions and provide documentary evidence to support their tender response for a matched work package opportunity, extending the functionality to support more of the Source to Contract (S2C) procurement process
This recreates the off-platform equivalent .csv question/answer type approach many buyers/publishers use today but with all the benefits of tracking and compliance data built-in to Constructionline
Tender Requirements can be used in any stage of a work package: EOI, RFI, RFP, RFQ, or ITT
Suppliers get automatically notified by email when they have been matched to a published opportunity
A clear dashboard so suppliers can easily see which opportunities they have been matched with, the value of the project, when they need to respond by, and track the status of the tender stage
The buyers will be able to view all suppliers’ responses and associated documents to make informed decisions about which prospective partners to engage
